Includes app shortcuts, recent activity, privacy choices and TV helper setup instructions. Some features require the optional TV helper.

Keep your TV controls close with Wi-Fi TV Remote. Connect your Android phone to a compatible Android TV or Google TV on the same Wi-Fi network, then pair using the code displayed on your TV. Everyday controls • Navigate with directional buttons or a swipe pad. • Use Back, Home and Search controls. • Adjust volume, mute audio and control supported media playback. • Use your phone's volume buttons while the app is open and connected. Typing and app shortcuts • Enter text from your phone when a supported TV text field is selected. • Use your phone's speech recognition service to dictate text. Microphone permission is requested when you use voice input. • Keep app shortcuts and recent launches close at hand. Connection requirements Your phone and TV must be on the same local network. Pairing requires access to the code shown on your TV. Some app discovery, launching and playback-status features require the separate Wi-Fi TV Remote Helper on the TV and additional setup.
