ChatTune translates WhatsApp messages, chats and voice notes into your language — right where you use them. Read WhatsApp conversations in your language without copying messages into a translator. ChatTune translates messages on screen and places the translations over the original chat bubbles. You can also write replies in your language and translate them before sending, or record a voice note and send it as a translated voice message in the other person’s language. TRANSLATE WHATSAPP CHATS • Translate WhatsApp conversations directly on screen. • Translations appear over the messages they belong to. • Scroll through a conversation and the translations follow the chat. • See the original message whenever you need it. • Translation only runs in chats you enable. SEND MESSAGES IN THEIR LANGUAGE • Type your message in your own language. • ChatTune translates your reply before you send it. • Check the translated text before sending. • Send your message in the language your contact understands. ON-DEVICE TRANSLATION Translation can run entirely on your phone using downloadable language packs. Once installed, supported languages work offline. Your message text does not need to leave your device for on-device translation. AI TRANSLATION For languages, wording or expressions that need more context, you can enable AI translation. When AI mode is enabled, the text being translated is sent to ChatTune’s server and passed to Google Gemini for translation. Turn AI mode off and translation returns to on-device processing. No message history database is kept by ChatTune. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED ChatTune does not require an account. There is no username, password or email sign-up. You can install the app, translate supported WhatsApp content and use the included AI allowance without creating an account. AD-SUPPORTED APP ChatTune may display advertisements to support the continued development and operation of the app. Ads do not change the core translation functionality. ACCESSIBILITY ACCESS ChatTune uses Android’s AccessibilityService API because it needs to read the visible WhatsApp interface and place translations over messages. This permission is required for the app’s core translation features. ChatTune does not use this access to control your device or read other apps. Its translation features are intended for WhatsApp, and the service is inactive when WhatsApp is closed. WHAT WE KEEP ChatTune stores a device identifier and translation usage information needed to provide the service and manage the monthly AI allowance. It does not store your WhatsApp message text, contact list or location. LANGUAGES Translate supported languages including Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese.
