Your child earns screen time. You decide how. ScreenSmart helps you turn screen time into a clear agreement. Choose which apps spend time and how your child can earn more. Your child can see their balance and what contributes to it. FOUR WAYS TO EARN SCREEN TIME • Learn – answer questions correctly in the subjects and at the level you choose. • Move – reach the daily step goal, then earn extra time with more steps. • Screen-free – leave the phone alone for an uninterrupted break, within the hours you set. • Useful apps – use apps you have marked as useful. They earn time instead of spending it. All four ways are available in the Android app and contribute to one screen-time balance on your child's device. Choose which ways are active and set their rewards. Step counting requires support and permission on your child's phone. CLEAR RULES. A VISIBLE BALANCE. Time counts down while your child uses apps you have chosen to limit. When the balance runs out, those apps lock. Your child can earn more time through the ways you have enabled. Your settings determine what applies. YOU CHOOSE IN PARENT MODE • Choose which apps spend time, earn time or stay unaffected. • Select subjects and difficulty levels for questions. • Set rewards, step goals and screen-free breaks. • Follow your child's learning and phone usage in reports. • Protect parent mode with a PIN. The aim is a routine where your child understands how their activities relate to screen time, and you have a clearer view of how things are going. PERMISSIONS AND ACCESSIBILITY ScreenSmart needs usage access and other Android permissions to measure time and limit the apps you select. The app explains these permissions during setup. The optional AccessibilityService measures active use in useful apps more accurately. The service detects activity such as taps and scrolling and does not control other apps. You can turn the service off in your phone's settings. FREE AND PREMIUM ScreenSmart offers a free plan and a Premium subscription.
