Panchang, Doordarshan live TV, All India Radio and festivals — in 12 languages.
Bharat TV, Radio, News Live is a daily companion for India — the panchang you check in the morning, the calendar you plan festivals around, Doordarshan live, and All India Radio, in one app that speaks your language. CHOOSE YOUR LANGUAGE FIRST Before anything else, pick one of 12 Indian languages: English, हिन्दी, తెలుగు, தமிழ், ಕನ್ನಡ, മലയാളം, বাংলা, मराठी, ગુજરાતી, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ଓଡ଼ିଆ, অসমীয়া and اردو. Every screen is translated — the panchang terms, the festival names, the buttons, the navigation bar. Not just a few labels. Change it any time from Settings. A REAL PANCHANG, CALCULATED NOT COPIED Tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga and karana for any date, with sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset for your own city. Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam, Gulika Kalam, Abhijit Muhurta, Varjyam, Amrit Kalam and Durmuhurtam, each with real start and end times. Timings come from an astronomical engine using the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa — the standard Indian panchangs use — computed on your phone for the city you pick, not looked up from a fixed table. HINDU CALENDAR AND FESTIVALS A month grid showing tithi and festivals at a glance, so you can plan around Diwali, Sankranti, Ugadi, Navratri and the rest. Optional reminders the day before each festival. DOORDARSHAN LIVE TV 30 Doordarshan channels — DD National, DD News, DD India, DD Sports, DD Kisan, DD Bharati, DD Retro and the regional services from Saptagiri and Chandana to Sahyadri, Girnar, Podhigai and the North East. Plus links to news and sports channels on YouTube. Channels that are not broadcasting say so, with a retry, instead of showing you a black rectangle. ALL INDIA RADIO AND FM Hundreds of AIR and FM stations, searchable and grouped by language and region. Playback continues in the background with proper media controls in your notification shade and on your lock screen. DAILY ASTROLOGY Rashi phalalu for all twelve signs, read fresh each day, plus your janma rashi, nakshatra and pada from your birth details. EVERYDAY TOOLS EMI, GST, bill split, rent split, date difference and age calculators, with Indian digit grouping (₹1,00,000, not ₹100,000). All offline. MAKE IT YOURS Four themes — Marigold + Maroon, Marigold + Navy, Marigold + Charcoal, Gold + Deep Green — and a full dark mode. WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL The panchang, the calendar and the calculators are computed on your device. No account, no sign-in, no profile. ABOUT THE CHANNELS Streams are the official public broadcasts of their owners. Channels marked ↗ open in YouTube and are not played inside this app. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Prasar Bharati, Doordarshan, All India Radio, or any broadcaster listed.
