Get the animals to their homes in this non-violent strategy game for two players
Take me home is a game that develops strategic thinking without any violence (not even "eating" opponents pieces). Suitable for very young children, the game goal is to get animals from your hand connected to one of suitable "environments". The look of animals is cartoonish and environments are not true habitats but symbolic and easy to imagine at that age, e.g. goldfish is a pet that can live in the water and in a city, so if you place it next to any of those environments on the board, you will score a "home" point. The board is built from hexagonal fields, each representing single animal or environment. The players alternate in placing fields, where each placed animal must be placed next to (sharing a common side with) at least one environment, and environment (except for the first tile) must be placed next to an animal. The player must make a move, and the game ends when no move can be made. Then the board is scored, for each environment, the player who has more "home" points wins that environments, and the player who wins most environments is the winner of the game. Of course, both environment and the game score can be a tie. The game can be played on two devices with safe, pre-connected pairing or with both players on the same device. Duration of one game is 5 to 15 minutes, the game is designed as parent/child activity.
