Fans of a Rook style card game, Kentucky Discard, Spades, Euchre, Pitch, Bid Whist, Hearts, Pinochle, and 500 will find familiar ideas with a fresh twist. Blackbird adds wild cards, point cards, and tactical trick taking. Bid, Trump & Win Tricks: Each hand starts with a bid. Study your cards, make a bid, win the bid, call trump, and exchange cards with the Crow Nest. Then use smart trick taking to control the table. A 4 player game makes every decision important. Online play tests your plan against real opponents, while offline play lets you train against AI. Use trump wisely, protect point cards, help your partner, and choose the right moment in each hand. The Black Bird is the wild card that can change a trick in an instant. The winner of each trick leads the next. The final trick decides who takes the Crow Nest, including point cards left inside. Reach 300 points first. Track the Black Bird as cards leave the table. Hold the Black Bird for control. Use the Black Bird on point cards. A late Black Bird can change a trick. Watch the Black Bird. Classic Rules: Classic Blackbird uses a 41-card deck with four colored suits and the Black Bird. Each suit has cards from 5 to 14. The Black Bird is worth 20 points; 14s and 10s are 10 points, and 5s are 5 points. Each player receives 9 cards and 5 cards go into the Nest. The highest bidder chooses trump and exchanges cards with the Crow Nest. If the team fails its bid, the amount is lost. Red One Rules: Play Red One in offline mode as an offline variation. Inspired by a Rook style card game and Western Kentucky variations, it adds the Red 30 as the highest trump. Red 30 is worth 30 points and can beat the Black Bird, creating bigger swings. Include Ones Rules (BuckEYE): Include Ones is an offline rule option for higher-scoring hands. All four 1 cards are added, one for each suit. Each 1 is worth 15 points and ranks above the 14 in its suit. Players receive 10 cards, the Nest holds 5, with 180 points and stronger suit control. Online, Offline & With Friends: Play online or offline in a 4 player match. Join online tables and online 4 player matches, or choose offline AI play.
