WiFi & mobile analyzer: coverage on a floor plan, channels, dead zones, PDF.
RF Wi-Fi Mapper turns your phone into an indoor site survey tool. Load a floor plan, walk the
building and tap to record real Wi-Fi and mobile (LTE/5G) readings exactly where you stand — then
see what else is on the air around you, and hand clients a clean PDF coverage report.
Readings come from the phone's own Wi-Fi and telephony hardware. Nothing is simulated.
MAP THE COVERAGE
• Add a floor plan from your camera or gallery.
• Pan and zoom so the fixed centre crosshair sits over your real position, then tap "Fix point".
• Survey Wi-Fi or mobile — pick the layer when you start, so surveys stay comparable.
• A smooth heatmap, interpolated from your points, shows strong and dead zones on the plan.
• One colour scale everywhere: green = excellent, red = dead. Heatmaps on screen are free.
SEE WHAT ELSE IS ON THE AIR
• Networks — every radio in range with its band, channel, width, security and how old the reading
is. Grouped by network, so a dual-band router is one entry, not two.
• Channels — the occupied spectrum drawn per band, and how busy each channel is: overlap weighted
by the neighbours' signal, never a count of access points, because 2.4 GHz channels overlap.
• A recommendation, or none — it names the channel worth moving to and what would be gained, or
says plainly that nothing nearby is quiet enough to be worth the trouble.
• Stability — signal over 1, 5 or 15 minutes, so a link that drops is told apart from one that is
simply weak.
• Devices — an on-demand sweep of your own subnet: addresses, names, response times. A scanner,
not a guard: nothing runs in the background.
• Two limits, printed on the screen rather than buried: congestion is measured BY WI-FI ONLY — a
phone cannot see microwaves, video senders, Bluetooth or concrete — and FROM WHERE YOU STAND.
BEFORE / AFTER, DONE RIGHT
• Keep several surveys per plan — before and after moving a router or adding an access point.
• Automatic comparison shows how coverage changed. No dropdowns to fiddle with.
• Dimmed "ghost" reference points help you re-measure the same spots between rounds.
• Each survey records the capture device, and the report warns if a comparison mixes devices —
Wi-Fi RSSI is not calibrated across phones.
DETAILED PDF REPORTS (PRO)
• Set the bar — a signal threshold and the share of the area that must reach it — and every plan
is answered against it: PASS or FAIL, plan by plan.
• Executive summary, coverage metrics, survey confidence, comparison and per-location deltas.
• Problem areas marked on the plan, findings and what to do next — or a plain statement that the
data cannot support a recommendation yet.
• Heatmap and point maps per plan and layer, plus a plain-language guide to reading them.
• A built-in sample report is free, so you can see the output before you buy.
PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
• Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-in, no ads.
• Location and phone-state permissions are used only to read Wi-Fi and cell signal; the camera is
only for photographing a floor plan. Nothing is shared with third parties.
FREE vs PRO
• Free: the whole analyzer, one project with one plan and two surveys, heatmaps on screen, and the
sample report.
• Pro: unlimited projects, plans and surveys; the previous-survey overlay while you walk; and PDF
reports of your own sites.
• Two ways to get it: a 24-hour pass, or a one-time lifetime unlock. The pass ends by itself and
never auto-renews. What it paid for stays yours: those projects still open and their PDF can
still be generated — adding new plans, surveys or measurements needs Pro again.
Built for anyone who needs to know where the signal is — a flat, an office, a warehouse — and
detailed enough for the engineers, installers and ISPs who bill for the survey.
