Buck Pitch is the classic four-player trick-taking card game — known as Setback in New England, Pitch across the Midwest and Plains, and High-Low-Jack in Appalachia. If you have played Pedro or Smear, you already know this game. Bid, set the trump, and take the tricks that matter. Every hand, players bid on how many points they can take. Win your bid and you score. Fall short and you get "bucked" — your bid comes straight off your score. Simple to learn, sharp to master.
