Live glitch photography with effect chains and RAW processing
5igna1 is a camera for finding images in a damaged signal. Choose fault points from the sensor to the display, keep their identities, and capture the brief glitches that occur inside that system. 13 FAULTS / 8 POINTS PIXEL DAMAGE, EXPOSURE, ROW ERROR, BIT ERROR, ADDRESS ERROR, CFA ERROR, DEMOSAIC ERROR, CHROMA ERROR, COLOR MAP, BLOCK ERROR, STREAM ERROR, VHS and CRT. CLEAN is an empty route. Faults follow causal signal order. VHS/CRT profiles are separate from tracking, dropout, convergence and sync faults. STREAM ERROR models decoded-region loss/reuse; it does not edit real packets. A CHARACTER THAT PERSISTS Each fault has its own motion and incidents. RESEED changes identities while preserving controls and the route. LIVE optionally couples motion, camera timing, thermal state, processing pressure and audio amplitude to meaningful fault states. It starts off. Ordinary time progression never shuffles the chain. COMBINE AND ADJUST Generate 2–5 faults and their controls with Random Chain, then adjust them in the live preview. ADVANCED exposes internal parameters as AUTO or fixed values. Device recommendations and automatic workload control help manage preview work; EXPERT optionally removes app-level workload limits. Actual speed depends on the device. CAPTURE THE SIGNAL JPEG saves the displayed camera image and its fault state, at a supported live resolution. Preview and ordinary video use the same processed images. Select H.264/H.265 and device-supported video settings; sound is optional. Original and processed DNG use separate RAW exposures and can differ from the RGB preview. Six sensor/readout/data/CFA faults support RAW16 processing. Browse photos and videos together inside the app, with photo zoom, video playback and seeking, sideways browsing and downward dismissal. EXPERIMENTAL RAW VIDEO Compatible cameras can save original, silent DNG sequences in ZIP with timestamps. Extract and develop them in RAW software. This is not a playable MP4; processing is bypassed and frames can be dropped under load. ON YOUR DEVICE Every scene sample starts with the camera. No semantic scene generation or completion. No ads, accounts, trackers or analytics SDKs. Optional location tagging starts off. All distribution variants share the same core features. Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese. Android 12+, Camera2 and OpenGL ES required. RAW support, resolutions and processing speed depend on the device. RGB reconstruction and decoded-block faults are explicit approximations.
