CG Lap Bible

CG Lap Bible is a trackside lap timer and race notebook for kart, car and bike drivers. Time up to four drivers at once, record the setup you ran, and build up a history of what actually worked at every circuit. No account, no sign-up, and no phone signal needed. TIME EVERY LAP • Each driver gets their own button. Tap as they cross the line and the time is taken the instant your finger touches the screen, not when you lift it. • Time one to four drivers in the same session, each with their own lap clock, so staggered starts are no problem. • Lap times are coloured as they come in: green when faster than the driver's previous lap, red when slower, purple for the fastest lap of the session. • See how the current lap is tracking against your personal best while it's still running. • Timing carries on through a locked screen, an incoming call or switching apps. • Tapped by mistake? Undo it straight away, or fix it after the session: remove a lap, move it to another driver, correct a time or add a crossing you missed. Every edit is logged and edited laps are clearly marked. UNDERSTAND THE SESSION • Driver dashboard with lap-time trend, best and average lap, splits and deltas. • An automatic plain-English recap of every session. • Animated lap replay: watch each driver's laps play out against the others, across the whole session or a single lap. • Circuit personal bests, with a proper celebration when you set a new one. Only cleanly timed laps count. • Compare sessions at the same circuit side by side, with setup differences highlighted. • Estimated average speed where the track length is known, in mph or km/h. • Share a branded results card from any session. LOG YOUR SETUP • Setup sheets built for karts, cars and bikes: tyres, pressures, gearing, chassis, suspension, aero and more. Every field is optional. • Add your own fields, and reorder or hide the ones you don't use. • Save a setup as a template ("Wet – Kart 12") and reuse it next time. • Tyre Delta Board shows cold-to-hot pressure changes on every corner. • Setup Passport: share a setup as an image with a QR code that a teammate can scan straight into their own CG Lap Bible, with no internet needed. • Keep private notes on each track and session. FIND WHAT WORKS • Sessions are grouped by conditions (dry, damp or wet, temperature and wind), so you can see which setups went fastest in similar weather. • Sample sizes are always shown. When there isn't enough data to compare, the app says so rather than guessing. TRACKSIDE WEATHER • Hourly and 15-minute forecasts for your circuit, plus a forecast rain map around your location. • Conditions are saved with each session automatically, and you can edit them to match what you actually saw. • Weather data by Open-Meteo. The rain map shows a forecast model, not live radar. UK CIRCUITS BUILT IN • A built-in list of UK kart, car and bike circuits, with the nearest one suggested when you arrive. You can add any track of your own, anywhere in the world. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • No account, no login, no cloud. Your races, setups and notes are stored only on this device. • Works fully offline. Only the optional weather forecast uses the internet. • Because your data is only on your phone, keep a backup: export a full backup file from Settings and restore it whenever you need to. BUILT FOR THE PIT WALL • High-contrast outdoor mode for bright sun, plus dark mode. • Screen stays awake while timing, with a battery indicator. • Supports large text and screen readers. CG Lap Bible is a hand-operated stopwatch, so times depend on when you tap. It doesn't use GPS or transponders and isn't an official timing system.
