Dig. Feed. Defend. Grow. Antheim is a cosy side-view ant colony simulator. You draw the tunnels with your finger, and the whole colony gets to work: ants gnaw through the soil, carry it up to the surface grain by grain and open up whatever was hidden down there. DIG WITH YOUR FINGER Tap Dig, drag a line from any tunnel and confirm it. The longer the line, the more workers you need — the gauge at the top shows how much you can plan right now. Ants dig on their own, pick their own routes and step aside for each other. BUILD A REAL NEST A nursery for new ants, storage for supplies, an aphid farm for honeydew, a mushroom garden for food and barracks for soldiers. Tap any chamber to see exactly what it produces and how soon. THE UNDERGROUND IS NOT EMPTY Tunnels break into caves full of leaves, seeds and crystals — or into spiders, centipedes and mole crickets. When enemies attack, every ant drops what it is doing and defends the queen. GROUND WATER Some pockets in the soil are full of water. Break into one and it pours down the shafts and floods everything below: a flooded tunnel cannot be crossed, and ants caught in it drown. Dig a tunnel underneath and the water drains away. ROCKS THAT FALL Dig the soil out from under a rock and it drops, plugging the tunnel it lands in and crushing whoever stands there — enemies included. A HUGE MAP The underground stretches far to the sides and deep down, until it ends in solid bedrock. Dig new ways out to the surface so the soil does not have to be carried all the way to the first entrance — but remember that raiders can use them too. FOUR WORLDS Pine Forest, Autumn Grove, Flower Meadow and Tropical Jungle. Each has its own colony, its own soil, its own enemies and richer loot than the last. Raise a colony to level 5 to open the next world. UPGRADE THE COLONY Strength, speed, stamina and carrying capacity — every upgrade makes the whole colony faster. Free to play, with optional purchases and optional rewarded videos. No registration and no sign-in: your colony lives on your device and keeps working while the game is closed.
