Trace My Build is a home building app for homeowners, their families and the people building for them. It keeps a house construction project in one shared place, from the first cost estimate to handover: the progress, the site photos, the people on the project and every payment with its receipt. Muvaki, the built-in AI assistant, answers questions from your own records. WHO IT IS FOR • Homeowners building from abroad. In the diaspora and building a home back home? KNOW WHAT IT SHOULD COST • Estimate the house before the first brick. Describe it, or upload the plan, and get a construction cost for each phase at published local rates for Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and India. • One tap turns the estimate into your budget, so you see early when a phase is running over. FIND A SERVICE PROVIDER YOU CAN TRUST • Service providers where you're building: builders and project managers, each with a checked phone number and the projects they are already on. • Ask a few for quotes from your estimate, so every quote prices the same house, phase by phase. Each quote is set against local rates, and a price far under the range is flagged before you choose. • Choose one and they join your project. FOLLOW THE PROJECT • Construction progress phase by phase, from the ground to handover, with dated site photos for each phase. • A timeline that shows what is next and what is running late. LET THE PEOPLE ON SITE UPDATE IT • Invite your project manager, builder or family with a code. • They add site photos, and someone you allow logs payments with the receipt. • Nothing counts until you approve it, and you are told the moment something is waiting. SEE WHERE THE MONEY WENT • Money sent and money spent, with the receipts, in whatever currency you paid in. • A clear cost breakdown by category, by item and by phase. • See when the next transfer needs to go, before the work stops. • Export a spreadsheet or a full backup whenever you want. ASK MUVAKI, YOUR AI ASSISTANT • Muvaki answers in plain words from your own records: what the roof has cost so far, what is left to pay for the windows. • Say "paid Tendai 820 for bricklaying", or photograph a receipt, and Muvaki records it for you to check. WHAT IT IS NOT Trace My Build never touches your money. It does not move funds, hold funds or connect to your bank, and nobody takes a cut. You pay however you already pay (bank transfer, Mukuru, WorldRemit, cash on site) and record what you did. And an estimate is an estimate, not a quote: it tells you what to expect, and what to ask service providers to price. SUBSCRIPTION Free for 14 days from the first time you use it. Then US$4.99 a month or US$49.99 a year, or the equivalent in your local currency, billed through Google Play. Cancel any time in your Google Play subscriptions. Downloading an estimate as a PDF or spreadsheet comes with the subscription. Reading and exporting what you have already recorded is never blocked, even after a subscription ends.
