Bend it right. Cut it once.
SpoolCalc is a pipe fitting calculator built for people who cut and weld pipe in the field. Enter your measurements the way you say them on the job, like 4' 6 5/8", and get cut lengths, takeouts and clear drawings in seconds.
CALCULATIONS
• Offset: travel, advance and the cut length between fittings to clear an obstruction.
• Rolling Offset: rise and roll together, with the true offset, cut length and the clock position to roll the fitting.
• Parallel Offset: stagger the start points of several lines so their spacing holds through the turn.
• Miter Cut: build an elbow from straight pipe, with piece lengths, face angles and a wrap-around template.
• Branch Cut: fishmouth template for a branch entering the run at any angle, from a straight tee down to a 30° lateral.
• Cutback: trim a 90 down to the angle you actually need and get the new takeout.
DRAWINGS YOU CAN READ ON SITE
Color-coded drawings show the existing run, the fitting and the piece to cut. Miter and branch cuts come with wrap-around templates and ordinates.
REAL FITTING DIMENSIONS
Fitting dimensions follow ASME B16.9 U.S. Customary tables from 1/2" to 24": long and short radius 90° elbows, 45° elbows and straight tees. SpoolCalc uses the tables, not rules of thumb, which are wrong for 45° elbows below 4". The Fitting Specs screen shows and explains every dimension for the selected pipe size.
