Coffee Brewing is a coffee journal and brew log for home baristas who want every cup to be repeatable. Log a pour over, AeroPress, French press, moka pot, cold brew or espresso shot in seconds, tap how it tasted, and get one concrete change for tomorrow's cup instead of another guess. DIAL-IN TIPS AFTER EVERY CUP Each entry (dose, water, grind, temperature, time) saves with a free dial-in hint built in. Pick sour, bitter, weak, astringent, strong or balanced and the app names the one thing to change next, taken from a curated troubleshooting table, not invented on the spot. "Log again" pre-fills the same recipe, so tomorrow starts where today left off. Unlimited and free. LIVE COFFEE RATIO Type your dose and water and the ratio updates as you go, marked stronger, weaker or inside the typical range for that method. No separate ratio calculator needed. ESPRESSO, TREATED AS FIRST-CLASS Enter dose in, yield out and shot time: the app works out your espresso ratio and flow rate, places the shot as ristretto, normale or lungo, and gives one plain grind instruction: finer, coarser, or stay. The Espresso Ladder walks you shot by shot toward a target until it holds. GUIDED POUR OVER TIMER Pick a method, dose and target yield and the timer walks you through bloom, pours and drawdown, with step cues if you allow notifications. YOUR DATA Your entries, beans and recipes are stored on your device. No account is needed; signing in is optional. AI features ask your permission first, then send only the details they need (or the one label photo you pick) to our server and an AI service; the server keeps only a count of your AI requests.
