Medication reminders, visits and tasks for families caring for an aging parent.
Caring for aging parents is rarely a one-person job. Reminders, doctor visits and "did anyone pick up the prescription?" messages pile up in a group chat until something slips. Caregiver Planner gives a family caregiver one calm place to organize elder care: medication reminders, tasks, appointments, a care log and the numbers you call most.
It is an organizer for the logistics of caregiving, not a medical app. It helps you plan, remind, hand over and keep track. It never gives dosing, diagnosis or treatment advice.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Profile: add the person you look after, whether a parent, a spouse or someone else, with a relationship and notes.
• Medication reminders: add each medication as printed on the label and the times you want a reminder. Log each one as taken or skipped, or snooze it for 15 minutes. The app reminds you of the time only and never suggests what or how much to take.
• Tasks: add jobs like "pick up prescription" or "call the clinic", note who is doing it, set a due date and check it off.
• Appointments: keep doctor and specialist visits with the provider, place and notes, and get a reminder before each one. After a visit, write down what was decided and turn follow-ups into tasks.
• Log: note visits, calls and updates. Group entries into concern threads ("sleep at night", "swollen ankle") so you can tell a clinician how long something has been going on.
• Contacts: save doctor, pharmacy, nurse and family numbers, and pin two to Today for a one-tap call.
• Rotation: set a weekly pattern of who is on duty and when, with an end-of-shift reminder.
• Handoff brief: reminder times, the next tasks and appointments, recent updates and who to call, ready to send to a sibling or save as a PDF.
• A weekly recap you can share, and a log export as a PDF for your own records.
• Prep checklists: pick a situation (specialist visit, hospital discharge, home safety, organizing medications, new diagnosis questions, in-home help, documents) and get an organizational checklist of questions to ask, papers to bring and jobs to divide up.

YOUR DATA
As a guest, your plan is stored on your phone. Care Circle and cloud backup store the shared or backed-up items on our servers. AI checklists and suggestions are drafted by a third-party AI service (OpenRouter), only after you agree; medication names and recent log entries are sent only if you switch that option on. We use Firebase for sign-in, analytics and crash reports, and Google AdMob for ads in the free version.
NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
Caregiver Planner helps you coordinate the day-to-day of looking after an elderly parent or loved one. It does not provide medical, dosing or health advice. For any medical question, consult a licensed professional; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
