Photo Challenge is a daily photography practice app for anyone with a camera, phone or otherwise, who wants their photos to look less ordinary. Every day you get one photo prompt, practical photography tips and a clear composition goal. Shoot it, log it, and ask the AI photo coach to read the frame you actually took. THE DAILY PHOTO CHALLENGE • A new prompt every day, with a short tip on how to approach it • Eight composition skills in rotation: rule of thirds, framing, light, perspective, color, negative space, reflection and leading lines • Three difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard), each with a concrete shooting rule • After a few critiques, the daily assignment leans toward your weakest skill; you can always switch back to the shared prompt of the day • A streak that tracks your current run and your longest one AN AI PHOTO CRITIQUE THAT READS YOUR REAL SHOT Your photo is scored on the skill of the day plus three supporting factors that make or break it, such as balance, depth, edge control, horizon level or color contrast. Every critique ends with one specific suggestion for your next attempt, not "nice shot". • Reshoot the same prompt with the note and see whether the score moved • Critique any frame in your gallery, today's or one from weeks ago • The coach looks at composition, not gear, so a phone camera works fine LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY BY PRACTICE • Skills screen: your scores per composition skill and how they trend • Skill coverage: which of the eight skills you have practised and which you have not tried yet • Weekly digest: frames logged this week and the skill that moved the most • Practice archive: missed a day? Shoot a past prompt from the last 90 days. Catch-up frames count as practice but never backfill your streak • Streak repair: once a month, bridge a single missed day • Optional daily reminder at a time you choose • Share your skill and streak day through your phone's share sheet WHAT THIS APP IS NOT Photo Challenge does not replace your camera and does not edit photos: no filters, no presets. You shoot with your phone's own camera or pick one from your library; this app is the practice routine and the coach next to it. YOUR PHOTOS AND YOUR DATA • Your photos and notes stay on your phone • A photo leaves the device only when you ask for a critique, and only after you agree in the app. It goes to our AI provider OpenRouter, which passes it to Google's Gemini model. It is not stored on our servers, and you can turn AI analysis off in Settings • Your streak, log dates and critique scores are saved on our server under an anonymous guest ID • No account needed. You can optionally sign in with Google or email to keep your progress on a new phone • Firebase (sign-in, analytics), RevenueCat (subscriptions) and Google AdMob (ads) are used Available in 10 languages, with light and dark themes.
