Improvements and fixes
Work out children's medicine doses by weight and keep track of every dose.
Pediatric Dose works out in seconds how many ml to give your child based on their weight, for the most common children's medicines, and helps you avoid giving a dose too soon. Dosing by weight • Paracetamol / acetaminophen (100 mg/ml, 160 mg/5 ml and 120 mg/5 ml) • Ibuprofen (20 and 40 mg/ml) • Amoxicillin and amoxicillin with clavulanic acid (50 and 100 mg/ml) • Azithromycin (200 mg/5 ml) • Cetirizine (1 mg/ml) • Dextromethorphan and inhaled salbutamol The result shows the volume and mg, the maximum single dose, the hours between doses and the daily maximum. It reminds you to check that your bottle has the same strength. Safety alerts • "Too soon: wait until 3:40 pm" if the last dose was recent • An alert when the 24-hour maximum is reached • Different strengths of the same medicine count together (e.g. ibuprofen 20 and 40 mg/ml) • Alternating paracetamol and ibuprofen doesn't trigger false alerts Child profiles Save each child with their weight. Choosing a child fills in the weight, and history and alerts are kept separately. Reminders Get a notification when the next dose can be given. History for your doctor Log each dose with the temperature and share a summary by message or email. Private, no account All data stays on your phone. No sign-up, no ads and no internet connection. Dark mode and 17 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese. Important: this app is a guide only and does not replace advice from a doctor or pharmacist. Always follow your doctor's instructions and the medicine leaflet. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
