Demote is a universal TV remote for your phone. It works with Roku, Samsung, LG, Apple TV, Google TV, Android TV, Chromecast, Vizio, Sony and more over your Wi-Fi, with no ads, no account and no subscription. Turn it sideways and it's a controller. It finds the TVs on your network. Pick yours, enter the code if one shows, and you're set. A CONTROLLER FOR TV GAMES, EMULATORS AND MORE Turn your phone sideways for nine free layouts: • Toaster, Rainbow, Crescent, Twin and Redmond: classic pad shapes with colored face buttons • BIG MODE: big buttons, big text. Power, Home, Back, Play/Pause and volume. • Swiper: your own buttons as a big, labeled deck you swipe through. Put your movie-night macro, the porch light and Netflix one tap away. • Cupertino: an Apple TV-style touch surface, sent to Apple TV as real touch • Gaben: two trackpads, one under each thumb On a TV it sends the remote's keys, for games and apps that take them. Emulator mode, over Wi-Fi, adds analog sticks and triggers, motion aiming and touch for PC emulators that support DSU, such as Dolphin and Cemu, plus RetroArch hotkeys. Your phone can also pair as a Bluetooth controller, with sticks and triggers, for many TVs and PCs. Your layout is saved per TV, and one custom button per layout is free. HOME ASSISTANT AND BUTTON PACKS Turn on Home Assistant in Settings › Button Packs for scenes, lights, blinds and speakers by room, and send a TV's volume to a soundbar. Packs for WLED, Shelly, Tasmota, ESPHome, Kodi, Denon/Marantz, Yamaha MusicCast, Hubitat, IFTTT and more set up right where you turn them on. MACROS THAT DO THE WHOLE JOB One button can wake the TV and wait for it, hold a key, switch the input, dim the lights and open your app. Start from Movie night, Skip intro or Quiet, try it, and tap to stop. WORKS WITH YOUR TV Roku TVs and players (including TCL, Hisense, Insignia, onn., Philips and JVC), Samsung from 2016 on (Tizen, including The Frame), LG webOS, Google TV and Android TV (including Chromecast, Google TV Streamer, SHIELD, TCL and Hisense), Apple TV, Vizio SmartCast, Sony Bravia, most Panasonic Viera TVs, Google Cast devices such as Nest Hub, and Miracast displays. Phone and TV must share a Wi-Fi network. Power on needs a TV that can wake over the network. Roku players don't take volume or power keys, and app launching isn't available on Sony yet. Apple TV changes the volume only over HDMI-CEC, has no mute, and doesn't show what's playing. Hisense VIDAA TVs aren't supported.
