True Moon phase, lunar hours, dream journal, Table of the Moon & widgets.
Gabriel is a moonlit companion for the angel of the Moon — the herald of Daniel's visions and of the Annunciation — and for the hours the old books give him. THE MOON AT THE CENTRE The home screen paints tonight's true Moon: its real phase and terminator, percentage lit and age in the lunation, drawn for your hemisphere. Around it runs a ring of the day's 24 planetary hours, with Gabriel's lunar hours in pearl, and a live countdown to the next one. Coming new, first-quarter, full and last-quarter moons are listed with moonrise and moonset. THE LANTERN See where the Moon is right now on a sky dome — zenith in the centre, horizon at the rim — with its path across the night. A lunar transit clock shows when the Moon culminates and when it reaches its lowest point, the rhythm the tides follow. TABLE OF THE MOON Agrippa's 9×9 lunar square (every line sums to 369) engraved on silver, with Gabriel's name and that of the lunar spirit Chasmodai traced across it. The gematria and every step are shown. DREAM TIDE A dream journal that stamps each dream with the Moon's phase. Record vividness, lucidity and symbols; the app gathers recurring symbols so patterns surface over the months. A rotating prompt helps you remember. THE MESSAGE AND THE LORE Original evening and bedtime prayers; King James scripture from Daniel, Luke and the Psalms; and sourced lore: the meaning of Gavri'el, 1 Enoch, the Heptameron's Monday, Agrippa's lunar correspondences, Trithemius's lunar age and the feasts of 24 March, 26 March, 13 July and 29 September. HOME-SCREEN WIDGETS • Moon Pearl (2×2): a round pearl with tonight's phase and beads marking the Moon's hours. • Hours Ribbon (4×1): a ribbon of all 24 planetary hours with Gabriel's lit, a moving marker and a countdown. Each widget has its own sheen slider, from fully transparent to solid. ALERTS Optional notification when Gabriel's hour begins, with quiet hours; alerts are re-armed after restarts. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No ads, no accounts, no analytics, no internet permission. Location is optional and approximate, or choose a city. The Lantern is a lunar clock, not a tide table. Planetary hours and correspondences are shared as tradition and devotion, not prediction.
