Masalo is a bedtime stories app with 500 original tales for children ages 3-8, each one personalized with your child's name. Read together, listen together. READ BEDTIME STORIES IN YOUR OWN VOICE This is what makes Masalo different from other kids stories apps: you can record any page in your own voice. On the nights you cannot be there, your child still hears the story from you. Grandparents and a travelling parent can record too. Voice recordings stay on the device and are never uploaded to a server. AUDIOBOOKS AND READING TOGETHER If your child is just learning to read, read the story together. On a tired night, play it back as an audiobook instead. Text size adjusts to your child's reading level, and the picture-book layout moves one illustration at a time. A CALM NIGHTLY ROUTINE No ads, no distracting animation, no games. The dark interface, soft colors and readable type were built for the half hour before sleep. These children's tales were written to settle a child, not to wake one up. A STORY WORLD THAT CONNECTS Heroes, places and treasures return across stories, so your child comes to know a familiar world rather than a pile of unrelated tales. Mark favorites, follow reading progress, and export your weekly story book to keep. MADE FOR FAMILIES Create up to three child profiles, each with separate favorites and reading progress. Siblings share one library but build their own reading lists. IN FOUR LANGUAGES The app runs in English, Turkish, German and Spanish. In a multilingual home your child can hear the same fairy tale in two languages. WHAT TO EXPECT BY AGE • Ages 3-4 — short sentences, one thing happening, plenty of pictures. Bedtime stories that end in about five minutes. • Ages 5-6 — slightly longer tales where familiar heroes come back. Your child starts following the text. • Ages 7-8 — chapters they can read on their own, with you as the listener for once.
