Find each cat its own territory. An offline brain-training game, one board a day
Looking for a quiet brain-training game that still makes you think? Meowdoku is a logic puzzle that borrows the placement rules of sudoku and the mark-then-commit feel of minesweeper, then gives both to a board of cats. Your only job is to give each cat a territory of its own. The rules are short. The solving is not. - The board is split into colored regions. Each region holds exactly one cat. - Each row and each column holds exactly one cat. - Cats need space. They cannot share a row or column, and they cannot touch, not even on a diagonal. Tap once to mark a square as empty. Tap again to place a cat. A move that breaks a rule is refused, the board stays as it was, and you can undo. There is no life counter. Guessing does not help. Every placement has to be earned. If you get stuck, a hint does not place the cat for you. It points at the row, column, or region and explains the next step. Three hints a board, for learning the move, not skipping it. Stages start on smaller boards and grow as the reasoning gets longer. Prefer to choose for yourself? Free practice offers an easy 5×5, a standard 6×6, and larger boards when you want a harder deduction. More than eight hundred checked puzzles ship with the app. Each has a single solution. There is also one daily puzzle, the same board for everyone that day. Keep your own time and streak, and share a result card if you want. It is a personal record, not a global leaderboard, and it will not turn the game into a chore list. Meowdoku has no ads, and the puzzles themselves do not need a connection. Open it on a commute, in a queue, or with a coffee. A clearer color palette and light haptic feedback are there if you want them. Long after you put the phone down, the loop of marking, confirming, and placing one more cat tends to stay with you. Ready to settle the cats? Download Meowdoku and work the board through.
