Autofill is better at finding the right box. It reads the whole form instead of each field on its own, and every suggestion now offers three things: fill both fields, only the username, or only the password. Pick an entry from the search and the app keeps it, along with what you searched for, so the same site is right next time. Settings lists everything it has learned and clears any of it. Chrome needs one extra setting of its own before it will ask this app. Settings now shows where.
Nextcloud passwords with autofill and offline access. Your server, your data.
An Android client for the Passwords app on your own Nextcloud server. Your passwords stay on hardware you control: there is no account to create here, and no server of ours in between. What it does • Autofill in apps and browsers. Android suggests the right entry the moment a login field is focused, with inline suggestions on the keyboard. Each suggestion can fill both fields, only the username or only the password, for the times a page is read wrongly. A searchable picker covers the rest, and what you pick there is remembered for that site. There is a per-app blocklist. • Works offline. The password list and favicons are cached on the device, encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a key held in the Android Keystore, and readable without a connection. • Search that finds things. Type part of a name, a username or a domain; exact matches sort first. • Full management. Create, view, edit, delete and favourite passwords. Browse a folder tree with breadcrumbs, and create, rename, move and delete folders. • Sharing. Share with recipient search, adjust permissions, and revoke. • A password generator with configurable length, symbol set and symbol count, and an editable list of look-alike characters to exclude. • End-to-end encryption. Full CSEv1r1 support, including the PWDv1r1 challenge and per-field encryption on write. The passphrase is used on the device and is only kept in memory unless you choose to store it. • Self-signed certificates. Pin and trust one after seeing its SHA-256 fingerprint and expiry. How it looks The whole interface is a Material 3 palette generated from a single seed colour: the one your Nextcloud admin set in the Theming app, one you pick yourself, or your wallpaper. Light, dark, and an AMOLED mode with true-black surfaces. Password status colours stay literal, so they still read as signals rather than decoration. Privacy The window is opened with FLAG_SECURE, so it stays out of screenshots and the recents preview unless you turn that off yourself. Copied passwords are marked sensitive and cleared from the clipboard after a delay you choose, or left alone if you would rather they were. The offline store is excluded from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer, because its key never leaves the device and a restored copy would be unreadable anyway. What you need A Nextcloud server with the Passwords app installed. You sign in through the normal Nextcloud login flow in your browser; the app receives a device-specific app password and never sees your account password.
