• Replay any trip as a time-lapse from its detail screen. Stops are compressed so the whole route plays in 6–20 seconds. • New "High-precision recording" option in Settings → Location recording (off by default). It records GPS more often for a more accurate route shape and smoother replay, at the cost of more battery. • Your data retention setting is now enforced. Trips older than the chosen period are deleted automatically once a day while charging.

Record your commute, bike ride, or walk with GPS in CommuteMate. Tap to start a trip, then review your route on a map along with distance, time, average speed, and estimated calories. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly summaries show how your travel adds up over time. Turn it on in Settings → Location recording to let CommuteMate collect low-power location while you are not tracking and build hourly activity summaries. It requires the "Allow all the time" location permission and shows a persistent notification while active. Trips you start with the tracking button keep recording with the screen off without this option. PRIVACY Routes and activity statistics are stored locally on your device. Location data is not used for advertising and is not sold. Account sign-in stores your email and display name with the authentication provider. You can delete your account from the app. Please note that GPS accuracy may be reduced indoors, in tunnels, or near tall buildings, and background auto-collection, when enabled, can increase battery use.
