First test build of StareBack: ten sets of animated eyes that follow you, using the front camera on the device only. Pick your eyes, tap Start Watching and allow the camera. Please report anything that crashes, looks wrong, or looks the wrong way.
Animated eyes that watch, follow, blink and react as you move.
Your screen is watching you. StareBack turns a phone or tablet into a pair of animated eyes that actually follow people around the room. Pick a style, set the device down, and the eyes look toward whoever is standing in front of it. The illusion is simple: you move, they watch. EYES WITH PERSONALITY Choose from original styles ranging from realistic and playful to strange and creepy. Each one moves differently—some stare, some twitch, some react when you get close, and some barely seem interested until they suddenly notice you. Launch collection: • Realistic Human • Black Cat • Robot • Alien • Playful • Demon • Possessed Doll • Pumpkin Creature • Monster • Zombie MADE FOR PHONES AND TABLETS Use StareBack on a desk, shelf, counter, party table, display, doorway, or an old tablet you have sitting around. Full-screen Display Mode hides the interface so the eyes become the entire screen. WORKS WITH MASKS AND COSTUMES When a face is hidden behind a mask or a costume, the eyes follow movement instead. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The front camera is used only to determine where the eyes should look. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not recorded, saved, uploaded, or shown on screen. • No account • No ads • No cloud processing • No analytics or tracking • No subscription Buy it once and make something stare back.
