IPTV player for phone & Android TV: M3U, Xtream, EPG guide, playlist files
IPTV Lotus is an IPTV player for Android TV, phones and tablets. Play your own M3U/M3U8 playlists, Xtream Codes accounts and single stream links in almost any streaming format, with a full EPG TV guide, catch-up, movies and series, plus live TV recording on Android TV. Add a playlist by link or from a file - on your TV, straight off a USB stick. KEY FEATURES: ▶️ Play Your Own IPTV • M3U/M3U8 playlists, Xtream Codes accounts and single stream links • HLS, MPEG-DASH, SmoothStreaming, RTMP, RTSP, MPEG-TS, MP4 and MKV • Widevine and ClearKey DRM-protected streams • Software decoding for streams your device's hardware can't play • Adaptive quality, subtitles (SRT, VTT), Picture-in-Picture and Chromecast • Add by link or file on any device; on phones, open playlists from your file manager 📺 Live TV & EPG Guide • Full-screen TV guide with what's on now and next • External XMLTV EPG sources, matched to your channels automatically • Catch-up / timeshift on supported Xtream channels • Change channel inside the player with CH+/CH-, D-pad or swipe, or search by name 📹 Record Live TV (Android TV) • Record the channel you are watching, from the player or the guide • Schedule a programme once or every week • Save to a USB stick, internal storage or a folder you pick • Start early and keep going after, so an overrunning match is still captured 📂 Playlist Files, Backup & Restore (Android TV) • Add a playlist from an M3U file on a USB stick or your TV's storage - no link to type on an on-screen keyboard • Back up playlists, accounts, favourites, EPG sources and settings to one encrypted file • Restore it on another Android TV box or after a factory reset, with no account and no internet • Built-in remote-friendly file browser, because most Android TV boxes have no file picker Why does Lotus need access to files? Lotus is an IPTV player that lets you load and play your own M3U/M3U8 playlists on Android TV. You can open a playlist stored on your TV or USB drive, or copied from a computer. Not all Android TV devices provide a file explorer or file picker that can access these playlist files. M3U playlists and Lotus backup files are text/data files rather than photos, music, or videos, so they are not available through Android's media library. Lotus uses file access only to open the playlist or backup file you choose, and to save recordings and backups into the folder you pick; your other files are not collected or uploaded. On Android TV devices without a file picker, you won't be able to add playlist files or restore a backup without this permission. 🎬 Movies & Series • Browse movies and series from your Xtream account • Continue Watching - resume where you left off, with episode progress • Offline downloads with quality selection ☁️ Your Setup, Everywhere • Encrypted cloud backup; keep phone and TV in sync, or restore on a new device 🗂️ Organise Your Channels • Favourites, recently watched and hidden categories • Family-safe filtering of adult categories 🎨 Made for Every Screen • Android TV interface built for the remote, with themes, highlight colours and text size • Light and dark themes on phones, with swipe gestures for brightness and volume 🌍 11 Languages English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Chinese, Turkish, Russian, Romanian, Polish IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: This app does not provide or include any media or content. Users must provide their own content through M3U playlists, URLs, or Xtream codes. We do not host, resell, or promote IPTV services. REQUIREMENTS: • Valid M3U/M3U8 playlist URL or file, Xtream Codes credentials, or a stream link • Stable internet connection for streaming • On Android TV devices without a file picker: All files access, so the app can open the playlist and backup files you choose on the device or a USB stick SUPPORT: support@elbaz.dev
