What's In My Kitchen is a pantry inventory and food expiration tracker for your home. Know what you have, use what expires next, and waste less food. WHY FOOD GETS THROWN AWAY Most food waste at home is not a cooking problem. It is a memory problem: you forget what is in the freezer, you miss a date, or you buy something you already had. What's In My Kitchen keeps a simple kitchen inventory so you do not have to remember it all. PANTRY, FRIDGE AND FREEZER INVENTORY Keep one food inventory for every storage location: fridge, freezer, pantry or anywhere else. Save each item with its quantity and expiration date. Each batch keeps its own quantity and date, so two packs bought on different days are tracked separately and you can use the older one first. Use it as a fridge inventory, a freezer inventory or one list for the whole home. SCAN BARCODES TO ADD FOOD FAST Scan a product barcode to add it to your pantry inventory, or type the item in yourself. Set the quantity and the date, choose where it is stored, and save. EXPIRATION DATE SCANNER (PREMIUM) Point your camera at the printed best-before or use-by date and the expiration date scanner reads it for you. Check the suggested date before saving; you can always enter or correct it by hand. EXPIRY REMINDERS Choose how many days ahead you want a reminder, and get notified before food expires. Sort your pantry by nearest expiration date and see what needs using first, so nothing hides at the back of a shelf. SHOPPING LIST WITHOUT DUPLICATES Keep the groceries you need on one grocery list. Add quantities, check items off as you shop, and check your pantry inventory before adding another pack of something you already have. Do I have to scan everything? No. Barcode scanning is the quick way, but you can type any item by hand, including leftovers and homemade food. What if the scanner reads a date wrong? You always see the suggested date before saving and can change it by hand.
