It is OPTIONAL and used ONLY for launcher gesture shortcuts: Home, Back, Recent Apps, Assistive Touch, Control Center / notification panel shortcut, power menu shortcut, and lock screen gestures. It does NOT read messages, monitor typing, record the screen or audio, collect personal data, change settings without consent, or prevent you from disabling or uninstalling the app. You can turn it off anytime in Android Settings > Accessibility. Launcher Phone OS brings an iPhone-style home screen to Android: app grid, dock, folders, App Library, iOS-style icons, wallpapers, lock screen look, Control Center, and Assistive Touch. WHY ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE IS NEEDED Android only allows apps to perform system actions like Home, Back, Recents, opening the notification panel, or showing the power menu through the AccessibilityService API. Launcher Phone OS uses it only to perform these actions when you tap a launcher shortcut. HOW CONSENT WORKS Before asking for this permission, the app shows a clear explanation screen. The service stays off until you enable it yourself in Android Settings. If you turn it off, only the gesture shortcuts stop working. The rest of the launcher keeps working. WHAT THE SERVICE DOES NOT DO • Does not read messages, emails, or screen content • Does not log keystrokes • Does not record the screen, audio, or calls • Does not collect or share personal data • Does not change system settings without your consent • Does not prevent you from disabling or uninstalling the app This app is a home-screen launcher.
