Fantasy Basketball is a fantasy manager built on the top professional basketball league in the United States. You pick real players, you watch what they actually do on the floor, and their real box scores turn into your points every week. But the reason people stay is the market. A TRANSFER MARKET THAT NEVER SITS STILL Six players go up for auction three times a day. You bid blind — nobody sees what anyone else offered until the market closes and the highest bid signs him. Read the room wrong and you overpay. Read it right and you steal someone. And every night, prices move. The market reads what your league actually did: who got bid on, who got a direct offer, who had his release clause paid — and, the part nobody else counts, who went out on the market and nobody wanted. A player everyone chases goes up. A player who sits in the shop window and closes without a single bid goes down, and it costs him almost as much as demand earns him. Nothing doubles overnight. Every move is capped, and the middle of the market swings hardest: a bench guy can jump a fifth of his value in a day while a franchise player barely moves a percent. Prices are earned, not invented. RELEASE CLAUSES Every player you own carries a release clause: one and a half times what he cost you, recalculated as his price moves. It is the only way to sign someone who is not for sale — pay it and he changes teams on the spot, whether his manager likes it or not. One per day, and it locks 24 hours before the week starts, so nobody can raid your squad while you sleep. YOUR FIVE, ON THE FLOOR Point guard through center, laid out on a real court. Tap a slot, swap anyone in, and it saves itself. When the week tips off, the lineup locks — after that you watch. Leave a slot empty and it costs you. Every player has a full card: what he is worth today, what the market did to his price, his averages, and how he has scored season by season going back three years. Everything you need to tell a hot streak from a real player. WEEKLY SCORING FROM REAL GAMES Points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, shooting efficiency, minutes — all of it pulled from the real box scores as the games are played. The week closes on Sunday, the table updates, and the next one opens. PRIVATE LEAGUES Create a league, share the code, and play against the people you actually argue with. You start with a squad and a budget; what you do with them is on you.
