Bank Passbook Statement in SMS turns the transaction alerts your bank already sends you into a clear passbook on your phone. The app reads bank SMS alerts on your device and shows them as a list of money in and money out, account by account and month by month. There is no login, no registration and no connection to your bank. What you can do • See your transactions as a passbook Debit and credit alerts from your banks and cards are shown in one place, grouped by account. • See the balance reported in your SMS For each account, the app shows the balance from the most recent alert that included one, with the date of that alert. • Check monthly totals Money in and money out for each month, for one account or for all accounts together. • Read the original message Tap any transaction to see the SMS it came from. • Add transactions yourself Enter a cash or other transaction by hand, or paste a bank SMS to fill in the details. • Export a statement Share a month's transactions as a PDF or CSV file for your own records. • Useful tools EMI calculator, FD calculator, bank holiday list by state, and bank helpline numbers that open in your phone's dialler. Your privacy • Your SMS messages are read and processed only on your phone. • Your messages, transactions and balances are never uploaded, shared or sold. • Personal messages and OTP messages are ignored. • No bank login details or other credentials are collected. • The app does not track you or build a profile of you. • The internet is used only to load the public bank holiday and helpline lists. SMS permission The app asks for permission to read SMS so it can find your bank transaction alerts and build the passbook. Before asking, it shows a screen explaining this, and you can choose not to allow it. Without SMS access, the app still works: you can add transactions yourself or paste a bank SMS. You can turn the permission off at any time in your phone's settings. The app reads bank alerts from the last 24 months. Transaction SMS alerts must be turned on with your bank for the passbook to fill automatically. Permissions used • READ_SMS: to read bank transaction alerts already on your device, after you allow it. • Internet: to load the public bank holiday and helpline lists. None of your data is sent. It is not an official bank passbook or account statement, and exported files are for personal reference only. • Balances are those reported in your SMS and may not be current. The app may miss an alert or read one incorrectly. Please confirm important figures with your bank. • The app does not connect to bank servers, internet banking or payment systems. It cannot access your bank account, move money or make payments. It never asks for your PIN, password, CVV or OTP. • Everything shown comes only from the SMS messages on your device and the entries you add yourself. • Helpline numbers and bank holidays come from public sources and can change.
