About this app
Clear, guided tests to check your phone's features.
PhoneCheck AI helps you check the main functions of an Android phone using automated tests, guided tests, and easy-to-understand confirmations. It's useful when checking a used phone, testing a phone before buying or selling it, identifying a feature that needs attention, or preparing information before a repair. You can perform a quick test, a full review, a buy/sell workflow, a local AI review, or individually select the component you want to test. SCREEN AND TOUCH TESTS Check the screen with solid colors, gradients, grids, and visual patterns. Perform a touchscreen test using a coverage grid and check multi-touch response with several fingers. The app displays information about the available screen mode, but visual confirmation always depends on the user. AUDIO AND HEADPHONE TESTS Test the left, right, and both channels using stereo signals. Check the top earpiece used during calls and review the available audio paths. You can also test connected headphones or earphones and observe audio output changes compatible with the system. The microphone test lets you record a short sample, observe the input level, and play it back to confirm that the sound is being heard correctly. The test recording is deleted upon completion or cancellation. CAMERA, VIDEO, AND FLASHLIGHT Check the front and rear cameras with preview, focus, time capture, and compatible public data such as zoom, exposure, and stabilization. The app can locally analyze brightness, contrast, shadows, and edges of a test image. It also includes a short video recording and playback test, as well as a flashlight check with automatic shut-off. Test photos and videos are not saved by default. PHONE SENSORS Check the accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, orientation sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor when available. Measurements are displayed in real time so you can observe changes when you move, rotate, cover, or uncover the phone. The absence of a sensor or an unchanged reading is not automatically flagged as a fault. BATTERY, CHARGING, AND STORAGE Checks battery level, charging status, power source, and additional data that Android allows to be displayed. The guided charger test observes actual connections and disconnections. The storage check temporarily writes and reads data within the application's private cache, verifies the bytes, and deletes the file upon completion. It does not modify your personal files. INTERNET, WI-FI, AND CONNECTIVITY Checks actual internet access and observes latency, stability, response variation, and download speed. These measurements describe the connection observed during the test and do not guarantee the speed provided by your carrier. Also includes compatible checks for Bluetooth BLE, GPS, NFC, and audio routing. The NFC test requires bringing a physical NFC tag, card, or key fob close to the device. The Bluetooth test performs a brief search and does not retain the identities of nearby devices. BUTTONS, VIBRATION, AND BIOMETRICS Test vibration patterns, compatible volume buttons, lock and resume changes, and biometric authentication using the system's secure display. PhoneCheck AI never receives or stores fingerprints, facial data, or biometric templates. PHYSICAL INSPECTION FOR PURCHASE OR SALE The purchase and sale mode includes a guide to inspect the screen glass, frame, body, camera lenses, charging port, external buttons, speaker grilles, back cover, and any visible signs of corrosion. This inspection is manual and does not attempt to detect hidden internal damage.
