The Forever Jukebox analyzes songs stored on your device and transforms them into seamless, beat-perfect remixes that never repeat the same way twice. Every transition is generated on the fly, creating an infinite version of the music you already love. Analysis and playback happen right on your phone. No accounts. No ads. No subscriptions. Just your music, reimagined. THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Jukebox – The infinite song. On each beat, playback can jump to another moment in the track that sounds almost identical, so your favorite song keeps going for as long as you let it. • Autocanonizer – Your song played as a canon against itself. Two copies of the same track weave together into a duet the artist never recorded. • Wub Machine – An instant dubstep remix of any track. It detects the key of your song, rebuilds it at 140 BPM, and drops in wubs to match. AUDIO MODES Stack an effect on top of the infinite jukebox and hear a familiar track in a whole new way: • Nightcore – sped up • Daycore – slowed down • Vaporwave – slowed way down • 8D Audio • Lofi • 8-Bit • Underwater • Cathedral • More Cowbell • Swing Nightcore, Daycore, and Vaporwave include an intensity slider, so you decide how far to push it. WATCH YOUR MUSIC Every beat and every possible jump is drawn as a live music visualizer. Pick from six layouts (Classic, Arc, Galaxy, Grid, Infinite, and Wave) and go fullscreen to watch the song find its way around itself. TUNE IT YOUR WAY • Set how similar two beats must be before the jukebox will jump between them • Control how often jumps happen and how far they can travel • Remove individual jumps you don't like • Tuning saves automatically for each track MAKE IT YOURS • Export – Save your tuned jukebox audio or Wub Machine remix as an M4A file in your Music folder • Playlists – Queue up tracks and skip between them • Continue listening – Pick up your last track right where you left it • Background playback – Keeps playing with the screen off, with notification and headset controls • Sleep timer – Drift off to a song that never ends • Chromecast – Cast tracks to your TV • Light and dark themes HOW IT WORKS Add an audio file and the app maps its beats, timbre, and loudness on your device. The first load of a track takes a little while; after that the analysis is cached and reloads are faster. From there, the jukebox follows paths between beats that sound alike, and no two listens take the same route. OPEN SOURCE The Forever Jukebox is a from-the-ground-up, open-source modernization of Paul Lamere's Infinite Jukebox and Autocanonizer, with a Wub Machine mode based on Peter Sobot's original.
