Driving Mode Launcher is a simple utility app that lets you instantly launch Google Maps in Driving Mode without setting a destination. With just one tap from your home screen or app drawer, you can quickly access a driving-friendly map view with a tilted perspective and automatic map rotation based on your direction of travel. It is especially useful on smartphones, tablets, and Android-based car head units (Android car radios and navigation systems) that use launchers that do not support app shortcuts. If you want to start driving right away without going through multiple steps, Driving Mode Launcher provides a quick and convenient solution. Background Google Maps is an excellent mapping app, but its standard map view is typically shown from a top-down perspective.
