About this app
Your rabbit and cavy herd, litters and show entries — on your phone.
HARES is herd records and show paperwork for people who actually keep rabbits and cavies. The app is your herd in your pocket. What you record on your phone is the same record you see on the website — one account, one set of animals, nothing to sync. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Your herd — every animal with its ear number, breed, variety, date of birth, cage, weights and photos. Search it, filter it, sort it. • Litters — record a breeding, follow it through to kindling, and link the kits back to the dam and sire. Born, alive, weaned, all of it. • Breeding calendar — palpation dates, nest box dates and wean dates worked out from the breedings you have already recorded, so nothing sneaks up on you. • Shows — what you have entered, which entries are approved, and your results once they are posted. • Pedigrees — generations laid out properly, ready to print or hand over. • Transfers — pass an animal to another HARES keeper and its show history goes with it. • Sales, reservations and customers — who wants what, and what is still available. • Notifications — a transfer offer, an accepted transfer or a reminder reaches your phone. BUILT AROUND HOW SHOWS ACTUALLY WORK HARES knows about sanctioned shows. Breeds and varieties, class structures, legs and the awards that earn them. Records are kept the way ARBA expects them, so what you write down is what you can hand in. WHAT YOU NEED A HARES account to sign in. Rabbits and cavies are both supported throughout.
