About this app
Pray first, scroll later: a darshan at every unlock, japa & a daily Panchang
Read full description
Somewhere between waking up and getting out of bed, your phone already won. The feed took the first minutes of the day, the freshest ones, and your God got what was left. Sankalp turns that around. You choose your deities. You choose the apps that eat your time. Sankalp rests those apps behind a moment of devotion, so the next time your thumb wanders toward your feed, you meet your ishta-devata instead: a painterly portrait, luminous and calm, with a mantra to chant. Count a few beads and a soft bell opens your apps. A habit you never chose becomes smarana, a small remembrance repeated all through the day. And if you skip? Nothing happens. There is no red screen waiting to scold you. The lock keeps the vow you take on day one: "my first minutes belong to my God, not my feed." Your Gods, your altar A library of 100 Hindu deities, ranked to feel like home. Vinayaka comes first in one family, Venkateswara in another, and search understands the names you actually grew up saying: Ganesha, Shiva, Krishna, Hanuman, Lakshmi, Durga, Saraswati, Rama and many more. Nobody is chosen for you. No deity is tied to a weekday unless you tie them. Darshan at the door Every unlock is a small puja: see your God, chant, continue. Make it a quick 11, a steady 21, or a full 108-bead japa mala with a gentle pulse for each bead. If that sounds like a lot, "God-first mornings" rests your apps only until the day's first darshan. A Panchang that knows the day A complete Hindu calendar runs on your device: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, muhurta, sunrise and sunset. Sankalp knows when Ekadashi arrives, when Pradosham falls, and when Navaratri and Diwali begin, so the God who greets you fits the day. Vrat, when you choose Fasting is an invitation here, and the choice stays yours. When you are ready, Sankalp walks with you from sankalp to parana, marks the sacred days, and shows the true break-fast time. Quiet by design • Works fully offline: the panchang, the deities, the japa, all of it • In English, हिन्दी and తెలుగు • Private and local-first. Your practice lives on your device; sign-in and sync are optional • No ads. Nothing sold • Calm, spacious design that encourages and never guilts About permissions To rest the apps you choose, Sankalp asks for Usage Access (to notice when a chosen app opens) and "Display over other apps" (to show your darshan). The list of apps you choose never leaves your phone. Your attention is an offering. Give the first of it to your God.
