Location sharing with invite codes, maps, traffic & area alerts
📍 HereNow is a map and location sharing app that helps people share location with their circle, explore maps, and use practical map tools. Location sharing is mutual and consent-based. Sharing starts from an invite: one person gives out their own code, the other enters it. 🗺 Live Map View your current location on the map. • See your device location • Switch map styles • Browse your own location history • Find nearby places • Explore restaurants, transport, public facilities, and more 📍 Shared Locations View locations shared by people in your circle during active sharing sessions. • See shared locations on the map • Open directions • Change your circle member's display name • Stop sharing whenever you choose 🔐 Invite Code Pairing Start location sharing only after both participants agree. • Unique invite code • QR code or text code 🚦 Map Tools Useful map features in one place. • Real-time traffic layer • Measure distance between two points • Subway maps for supported cities • Nearby place search 📢 Area Alerts Create map areas and receive notifications when an active sharing participant enters or leaves the selected area. • Create custom map areas • Entry and exit notifications • Edit or remove alerts anytime • Works only during an active sharing session 🔒 Privacy & Consent Location sharing works only when both people opt in. • You are added to a circle only through an invite code that you generated and shared yourself. • Location sharing is available only during an active sharing session. • A persistent notification remains visible while your location is being shared. • You can stop sharing at any time. • You can remove a sharing connection or end a sharing session whenever you choose. • People appear on your map only while they are actively sharing with you. You decide when to share, who can see your location, and when sharing ends.
