Hide & encrypt photos with a password. Pixel scrambler, works fully offline.
Hide your private photos in plain sight. Hider is an image scrambler. It locks a photo with a password by scrambling it pixel by pixel. The photo stays in your gallery, but anyone who opens it sees nothing except random noise. Type the password and the original comes back, pixel for pixel. No vault. No hidden folder. No account. Nothing to explain if someone picks up your phone. WHY HIDER IS DIFFERENT A photo vault app hides your pictures behind a PIN, but the vault itself is sitting right there on your phone and anyone can see you have something to hide. Hider leaves nothing to find. A scrambled photo is just an ordinary image file. It can sit in your gallery, on a USB stick or in any cloud drive and it gives away nothing. FEATURES - Password photo encryption: real pixel scrambling, not a blur and not a filter - Hide photos in plain sight: a scrambled image looks like random noise - Fully offline: the app never needs an internet connection - No account, no sign up, no cloud, no sync - No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no data collection - Bulk mode: scramble or unscramble many photos in one go - Overwrite the original or save a separate copy - Live before and after preview while the photo is processed - PNG, JPG and WEBP supported. JPG is saved as lossless PNG so no pixel is lost - Cross platform: a photo scrambled on Windows at encryptimages.com opens on Android, and the other way round HOW IT WORKS Your password is turned into a numeric seed with SHA-256. That seed drives a deterministic scramble of every pixel in the image. The same password unscrambles it exactly. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server, nothing is sent anywhere. GOOD FOR - Personal photos you would rather not show to whoever borrows your phone - Documents, cards and screenshots you keep on your device - Sending a picture through a channel you do not fully trust - Anyone who wants privacy without handing their photos to somebody else's cloud PRIVACY Hider collects zero data. No analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no internet. Your photos and your password never leave your device. There is no server behind this app, so there is nothing that can leak. GOOD TO KNOW - There is no password recovery, and that is by design. Nobody, including us, can bring a photo back without the password. Keep your password somewhere safe. - Send a scrambled photo as a file, not as a chat photo. Apps such as WhatsApp compress and resize images, and resizing destroys the pixel data. - Pixel scrambling hides the content of a photo. It is not a replacement for full disk encryption or for a password manager. Offline. No account. No tracking. No servers.
