Lightweight utility that helps reduce motion sickness while riding in vehicles
"Bye-bye Carsickness" is a lightweight utility that helps reduce motion sickness while riding in vehicles. The app displays a semi-transparent water surface animation as a system overlay around the edges of your screen. This animation responds in real time to your device's motion sensors, creating a gentle visual cue in your peripheral vision that stays synchronized with the vehicle's actual movement. == Why it works == Carsickness is caused by a mismatch between what your eyes see (a static screen) and what your inner ear feels (vehicle motion). By adding a motion-synced visual element to your peripheral vision, this app helps bridge that gap and may reduce discomfort. == How to use == 1. Open the app and tap "Start Service." 2. Grant the overlay permission to the app when prompted. 3. Use your phone normally — the water wave effect appears as a subtle border around the screen. 4. The effect automatically responds to your device's tilt and orientation. 5. Tap "Stop Service" or use the notification to turn it off. == Key features == • Real-time sensor-driven water surface animation • Semi-transparent overlay — does not interfere with other apps • Responds to device tilt, roll, and flip orientation • Lightweight and battery-friendly • No personal data collection == Notes == • Requires overlay permission (Display over other apps). • This app is not a medical device. Results may vary. • Ads are displayed to support development costs. == Permissions == • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW — to display the overlay • FOREGROUND_SERVICE — to keep the overlay running in the background • INTERNET — for ad delivery only
