Read the evidence, choose a location and place your pin. Then uncover the answer, the reasoning behind the clues and sources for further reading. THREE CLUES. ONE PLACE. Start with a hint from the past. Reveal up to three clues when you need help. Extra clues lower the points available; the distance between your pin and the answer determines your score. There is no timer. BUILD A CASE BEYOND THE PIN Five optional investigations revisit places in the collection. In three Build the case examples, compare possible locations and select the evidence supporting your conclusion. Follow a three-step time comparison or an object investigation linking inland finds with coastal trade. Read all the investigation evidence without a point penalty, revise your choices after feedback and explore the historical sources afterward. START WITH THREE FREE PLACES Three complete place puzzles are free, with every clue, explanation and replay. The first evidence investigation is also free. One optional, one-time collection purchase unlocks the remaining 47 places, the other four investigations, the Daily Five and mixed practice. No subscription or paid hints. The investigations explore existing places; the collection contains 50 place puzzles in total.
