Hooky is a hook analyzer for short vertical video — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts. It measures your cut before you post it. Not a prediction. A measurement: when the audio actually starts, where the first cut lands, how much happens in the first 3 seconds, how long the dead stretches run, and what is readable on screen — Hooky reads the on-screen text itself. Every finding names the value it measured and the threshold it crossed, so you can argue with it. WHAT THE SCORE IS, AND IS NOT You get a hook score out of 100, and it is arithmetic rather than a forecast: it comes from the values Hooky measured in your file, against the thresholds you see next to every finding. The same file always gets the same number, and the findings show you line by line where it came from. It does not tell you how many views you will get — nobody has that data, including us.
