First release: prayer-time app lock with "I prayed", accurate salah times for your city, and your weekly prayer journey.
Locks distracting apps at prayer time until you pray. Accurate salah times.
Salah Gate helps you put prayer first. Choose the apps that pull you in. When a prayer time arrives, they stay locked until you pray. One tap on "I prayed" and they open again. HOW IT WORKS • Pick your city: prayer times are calculated on your phone, no location permission needed • Choose the apps to lock: social media, video, games, anything that distracts you • At Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, opening a locked app shows a calm prayer screen instead • Tap "I prayed" on that screen, in the notification or in the app, and your apps open again • Calls, emergency calls, the home screen, Settings and any app you did not choose are never locked ACCURATE PRAYER TIMES • Calculation methods: Diyanet (Turkey), Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, ISNA, University of Islamic Sciences Karachi, Egyptian General Authority, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, Moonsighting Committee • Standard or Hanafi Asr • Times for Turkey are tuned to Diyanet's published tables (within a minute) • Choose which of the five prayers should lock, and whether the prayer time notification makes a sound A BEAUTIFUL, QUIET DESIGN Every prayer has its own sky: indigo dawn for Fajr, clear blue for Dhuhr, honey gold for Asr, a crimson sunset for Maghrib and starry night for Isha. A sun path shows where you are in the day. YOUR JOURNEY See this week at a glance: which prayers you marked as prayed, your streak and the prayer that is hardest for you. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Your city, your chosen apps and your prayer journal stay on your phone. WHY THE PERMISSIONS • Usage access: only during prayer time, to notice when a locked app is opened. Nothing is stored or sent. • Display over other apps: to show the prayer screen on top of a locked app. • Alarms & reminders: to start the lock right on time. • Notifications: for the prayer time reminder and the "I prayed" button. SALAH GATE PRO (OPTIONAL) • Lock unlimited apps (free: up to 3) • Your full prayer history, beyond this week Prayer times, the lock and this week's journey are free. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play (weekly with a 3-day free trial, monthly or yearly). Prices are shown before you confirm. Cancel any time in Google Play. Salah Gate is not affiliated with Diyanet or any religious authority. When in doubt, follow your local mosque.
