Rulivo AR Ruler & Tape Measure

Rulivo is an AR ruler and tape measure app for Android that helps you estimate dimensions with your phone's camera. Measure everyday objects and rooms, calculate area and volume, and turn your measurements into useful estimates for furniture placement and home projects. Measure distance with your camera Mark two points to check a length, width or gap. See measurement lines over the camera view and keep several lines in the same session. Continue a line around a flat surface, add corners and close the outline to see its area, perimeter and side lengths. Undo the last corner when you need to adjust the shape. Measure rooms and flat surfaces Trace the corners of a floor, wall or other flat surface to calculate its area and perimeter. Work with rectangular, L-shaped or custom outlines with up to 32 corners in Area and Room modes. Add a room's height to calculate volume and see a 3D outline over the camera view. Room calculations assume a level floor and a constant ceiling height; furniture is included in the room's total volume. Calculate volume and capacity Use Object mode for rectangular dimensions or Cylinder mode for a round base and height. Build the base with camera points, then enter the height, adjust it in 5 cm steps or measure it with the camera. The outline and volume update as you change the height. Choose outside dimensions to estimate the space an object occupies, or use inside dimensions to calculate the capacity of a rectangular container or straight cylinder. View volume in cubic meters, liters or cubic centimeters. These calculations use the selected geometric shape, so an irregular object's actual volume may differ. Check whether furniture will fit Compare the dimensions of a rectangular space with those of an item such as a cabinet or storage box. Set the clearance you want on each side and choose an orientation, including turning the item onto a side when allowed. See the remaining space or shortfall for width, depth and height. Check doors, obstacles and the route into the space separately. Estimate project materials Use an area or perimeter result as the starting point for a material calculation: - Flooring: enter the area covered by one pack and an extra allowance to estimate how many packs you need. - Paint: enter the surface area, coverage per liter, number of coats and allowance to estimate paint quantity. - Baseboards: use the perimeter, exclude sections you do not need to cover, and enter board length and allowance to estimate the number of pieces. Enter known dimensions Already have measurements? Enter them manually, reuse measured line lengths or combine camera measurements with typed values. Edit a rectangular or L-shaped outline, or adjust points in a custom outline. Manual calculations and saved results are available without camera permission. Rulivo uses metric units: centimeters and meters for line measurements, square meters for area, and cubic meters, liters or cubic centimeters for volume. Save and share results Give a measurement a name and save it on your device. Open it later to review the date, dimensions, calculation results and available outline. Saved inputs show whether values came from the camera or manual entry. Create an editable copy to try different dimensions while keeping the original record, or share the results as text through your phone's sharing menu. Getting started Choose a mode, move the phone slowly to help it detect the surface, then mark your points. On-screen guidance helps with low light, fast movement and tracking recovery. Review the outline and values before accepting the result. Camera measurements require an AR-compatible Android device and camera permission. Results are approximate and depend on your device, lighting, surfaces and point placement. Verify critical dimensions with a physical measuring tape before cutting materials or ordering fitted items.
