Lost or broken DVD remote? Turn your phone into one in seconds. DVD Remote is a universal remote control for DVD players, Blu-ray players, disc changers, DVD recorders and home theatre systems. It uses your phone's built-in infrared (IR) blaster to send the very same signals as the original remote, so it works offline — no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no pairing, no account. Tap the red test button on each one until your player reacts, then open it. One remote? It opens straight away. ★ PLAYBACK FIRST Big Play and Pause keys, plus stop, rewind, fast forward, previous and next exactly where your thumb expects them. Open/Close ejects the tray, and Subtitles sits right next to it. ★ EVERY KEY YOUR PLAYER HAS Menu, Title, Top Menu, the arrow pad with OK, Back and Exit, a full number pad with Clear and +10, Audio track, Repeat and Display. Many Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Realme, Honor, Huawei, Samsung Galaxy (older models), TCL and Vivo phones have one; most recent iPhones and Pixels do not. The app tells you on the home screen if your phone has no IR blaster. It cannot control a player over Wi-Fi. HOW TO USE 1. Open the app and pick your DVD or Blu-ray brand. 2. Point the top edge of your phone at the player. 3. Tap the test button on each remote in the list until the player responds. 4. Open that remote and save it. That's it. TIPS - Point the top of the phone at the player, within about 5 metres and in line of sight. - If some keys work and others don't, switch to another remote for the same brand with the CHANGE button. PRIVACY No account, no sign-up, no personal data collection. Your saved remotes stay on your phone. The app shows ads to stay free, and asks for your consent choices where the law requires it — you can change them any time from the Privacy button on the home screen. The app works only through the infrared (IR) blaster built into your phone. It cannot control a device over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or the internet, and it will not work on a phone without IR hardware. Manufacturers use different code sets across models, regions and production years, so a player may answer only some keys, or none. Try the other remotes listed for your brand with the CHANGE button before leaving a review — that solves most cases, and we keep adding codes.
