Open the app and choose a VIZIO code set from the list. 2. Point your phone at the soundbar and press Power. 3. If it responds, you're set. If not, go back and try the next code set. IMPORTANT — IR HARDWARE REQUIRED This app works only on Android phones and tablets that have a built-in IR blaster (infrared emitter). If your device has no IR hardware, the app cannot transmit signals — it will let you know when no emitter is detected. Please confirm your device has an IR blaster before purchasing accessories or leaving a review. WHY CODE SETS? Different VIZIO soundbar models use different IR command sets, and each code set here also carries a different set of buttons. Rather than guessing, this app ships four captured code sets so you can quickly find the one that controls your unit.
