Official Algerian Adhan A free application, the official app of the Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, helps you know the prayer times in Algeria and alerts you when they are due, according to the official calendar of the Ministry, which uses the Algerian method of calculation. This application works on the Android operating system and is available for more than 60 Algerian cities. Basic Services Prayer Times Accurate prayer times for the five daily prayers, including sunrise, for Algerian cities, according to the official calendar. The main screen displays a progress bar, the time remaining in seconds until the next Adhan, the Hijri and Gregorian dates, and a weekly prayer timetable. Adhan and Alert • Choose a muezzin from among the best Algerian muezzins, or a different adhan for each prayer, or add an adhan from your phone's files. • Receive an alert 5 to 30 minutes before the adhan. • Control the volume: volume up, volume down, or vibration only. • An adhan screen appears on top of the lock screen. • The adhan history shows when each adhan was programmed and when it was broadcast, and provides an alert if an adhan is missed or broadcast without sound. • The "Alerts Ready" card checks permissions and helps you adjust what's missing to ensure the adhan is broadcast on time. Silent Mode During Prayer A new option that automatically silences your phone after the adhan for the duration of the prayer you choose (with a longer duration for Friday prayer), then restores it to normal. Alarms, the adhan, and calls from favorite contacts remain audible, and you can end the silence at any time from the notification. The option is disabled by default and only works after you activate it. Qibla Finder Wherever you are, the compass determines the direction of the Qibla. It displays the Kaaba, the degree of direction, and how far you can turn, right or left. The phone vibrates and changes color when you are facing the correct direction. When you raise the phone, the camera displays the Qibla direction in a 3D view. Adhkar Morning and evening remembrances (Adhkar) with cards, a counter, and a progress ring, along with a daily reminder. Religious and National Events A Hijri and Gregorian calendar, and an events page with a timeline showing upcoming events and the number of days remaining, with filters for religious and national events. On This Day Part of the app to introduce our glorious history and commemorate national and historical events in Algeria.
