PLAY THE ORIGINAL: MOKSHA PATAM Snakes & Ladders began in India as Moksha Patam, also known as Gyan Chaupar — a game of virtues and vices. SnakeRush includes a 72-square heritage board where every ladder is a virtue (Tapasya, Daya, Dana, Dharma, Bhakti…) and every snake a vice (Irshya, Dvesha, Ahamkara…). Land exactly on square 68, Vaikuntha, to finish. Open the Board guide during a match to read what each square means, and visit the Origins screen for the story from 18th-century cloth boards to the game you know today.
