VolumeRule uses Android’s Accessibility Service to detect which app is in the foreground and apply the media-volume setting you chose. It does not read screen text, messages, passwords, or input, and it does not perform taps or gestures. VolumeRule changes media volume only; it does not change ringtone, alarm, notification, call, or system volume. You must enable the service in Android settings. The steps can vary by device manufacturer and Android version. Some devices, including certain Samsung Galaxy models, may require you to allow restricted settings for the app before enabling Accessibility.
