Bug fixes and feature enhancement
Keep score for Callbreak. Fast and easy to use. Add bids, tricks, and totals.
Callbreak Points is a simple app to keep score for Callbreak games. No account needed. No confusing setup. Just open the app, add player names, and start scoring. Callbreak is a popular card game played by four people. Each player gets 13 cards. Before play starts, everyone bids how many tricks they think they will win. After all 13 tricks are played, you count how many tricks each player won. Points are added based on whether they made their bid or not. Doing this math by hand can be slow, especially when everyone is talking, laughing, and ready for the next round. One small mistake can change the whole match. Callbreak Points helps you score faster, with fewer errors, so you can focus on the game. Easy to start Set up four player names Choose how many rounds to play (default is 5) Tap Start Match and begin scoring You can use default names like Player 1, Player 2, and so on, or type real names. Setup takes only a few seconds. Simple scoring For each round, enter: Bid — how many tricks the player promised to win Won — how many tricks they actually won The app calculates the round score automatically. You do not need to remember the formula or use a calculator. How points work If a player wins the same number of tricks as their bid, they get +bid points If they win more tricks than their bid, they get a small bonus: +bid + 0.1 for each extra trick If they win fewer tricks than their bid, they lose −bid points Examples: Bid 3, win 3 → +3.0 Bid 3, win 5 → +3.2 (3 + 0.1×2 extra tricks) Bid 5, win 3 → −5.0 Bid 0, win any tricks → 0.0 The penalty for missing a bid is always the full bid amount. Extra tricks give a small reward, not a full point each. That is why making your bid is the most important goal in Callbreak. Clear scoreboard See all players and their total scores at the top Each round is shown in a simple list — tap to open and enter bids and tricks The active round is highlighted so you know where to enter data Scores are color-coded so good and bad rounds are easy to spot The current leader is easy to see at a glance Collapsed rounds still show a quick score preview for all four players Whether you are on round 1 or round 10, the app stays easy to read. Made for real games Works great when playing with friends or family Tap numbers to enter bids and tricks — fast and easy during live play Add more rounds if your game goes longer than planned Reset anytime to start a fresh match Edit player names during a match if needed No long forms or complicated menus This app is built for use at the table, not before or after the game only. Light and dark mode Use the app comfortably in bright daylight or at night. Switch between light and dark theme anytime. Your choice is saved on your phone. Private and offline-friendly No sign-up required No payment needed to score matches Match scores stay on your device while you play Only your theme setting is saved between sessions No need to share personal details to use the app Your game data is for scoring only. The app is designed to be simple and respectful of your privacy. Who is this for? Friends playing Callbreak at home Office groups or college friends during breaks Anyone tired of calculating points on paper Players who want a clean, fast scorekeeper Families who play Callbreak regularly If you know the game but hate doing the math, this app is for you. Why use Callbreak Points? Saves time during the game Reduces scoring mistakes Keeps everyone focused on playing, not arguing over points Simple design anyone can use Works well on phone screens during live play Helps new players learn scoring rules through clear results How to use Open the app Enter player names (or keep default names) Choose number of rounds Tap Start Match Open a round and enter Bid and Won for each player Check totals at the top to see who is leading Continue round by round until the match ends At the end, the player with the highest total wins.
