Play Bhaara Guti with friends, Wi-Fi, a computer, or one shared phone.
12 Gaat brings Bhaara Guti to your phone. Two players. One square board. Twelve gotiyan on each side. Take every piece, or leave the other player with nowhere to move, and the match is yours. People also know this game as Bara Tehni, 12 Guti, and 12 Beads. 12 Gaat keeps those lines and that steady pace. THE BOARD Five lines cross five lines. A goti stands on a crossing, never in the middle of a square. Each side places twelve gotiyan, and the centre crossing starts empty. Gold sits along the bottom. White sits along the top. YOUR MOVE Slide one goti along a line onto an empty next crossing. A jump is allowed too. When an opposing goti is beside yours and the crossing beyond it is empty, you may leap that goti and lift it from the board. You choose whether to jump. If you jump, and that same goti can jump again, the turn stays with it. Finish the chain before you let go. WINNING The match ends in a win when the other side has no gotiyan left. It also ends in a win when every goti they still have is blocked. Should the same arrangement of pieces return three times, the side holding more gotiyan wins. The same number on both sides is a draw. On Same Wi-Fi and online, each turn lasts thirty seconds. When the clock reaches zero, the turn is lost. WHERE YOU CAN PLAY Against the computer, learn the lines at your own speed. Sitting down costs 50 coins. On this phone, two people share one screen. Gold remains at the bottom and white remains at the top while the phone passes from hand to hand. Sitting down costs 20 coins. On the same Wi-Fi, two phones find each other on one network, so the match does not need mobile data. Sitting down costs 50 coins, and the thirty-second clock runs on every turn. Online, join a waiting seat or open a private room and pass the code along. A friend can send you straight into a game as well. Sitting down costs 50 coins, again with thirty seconds on the clock. COINS IN THE PURSE The first time someone plays, the purse opens with 120 coins, and the first day is already counted in that gift. A win adds 100 coins. You may watch a short video and turn those 100 coins into 200, or keep the 100. A draw hands back whatever you paid to start. A loss leaves that payment on the table. Each new day has a check-in. The gift rises through the week: 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, and then 150 on every day after the sixth. One rewarded video puts 50 coins in the purse. Another video waits a full hour. FACES, FRIENDS, AND THE SHOP The record you build is the one other players see: wins, losses, draws, streak, captures, and experience. Hand someone your six-letter code to add them as a friend, answer a request, and call that friend into a room when you are both free. Chat lives next to an online board. Turn chat off in Settings and the button leaves the screen. Coins in the shop change the board, the goti, and the colour you play. A painted face and a badge show at home and in the match. Sound and vibration can be changed in Settings. LANGUAGE The first opening of 12 Gaat asks you to pick a language. Settings keeps that choice ready whenever you want another. You can play in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Tamil, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, or Persian. Urdu, Arabic, and Persian read from right to left, and the app turns with them. A FEW HABITS A goti in the centre watches more crossings than one pinned in a corner. Leave a capture when a quiet step holds a better point. Stay with the goti that has started jumping. On one shared phone, choose gold and white before anyone moves, because the board does not turn. When a position returns three times, the larger side wins and an equal count draws. Bhaara Guti here is the same patient game from home. No dice decide it. The moves do. Take the computer for a short game. Share one phone for a long one. Meet on the same Wi-Fi, or send a room code across the distance. Twelve gotiyan. One board. For feedback email us at "khattakapps@gmail.com".
