Chat now stays put when your connection wobbles. Your messages remain on screen, a short Reconnecting note appears instead of an empty room, and the connection comes back quietly in the background. The old "Connection Timeout" screen is gone. Meet many more Bible friends: the character list now holds 200 characters and loads quickly, with a tidier picker that fits longer names. Cleaner character profiles, sharper images, smoother animations, and support for the latest Android.
Chat with 200 Bible characters in your own language. Scripture, made personal.
Welcome to Bible Buddies Chat, where scripture comes alive through conversation. Instead of only reading about David, ask him what the valley felt like before he faced Goliath. Instead of hearing about Esther, talk with her about finding courage when everything was at stake. Bible Buddies Chat lets you have real conversations with the people of scripture, in your own words and your own language. Made for everyone: personal study, family devotions, small groups, classrooms, and anyone curious about the Bible. 200 BIBLE CHARACTERS Meet voices from across both Testaments: - Patriarchs and matriarchs: Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, Joseph - Leaders and prophets: Moses, Joshua, Deborah, Elijah, Isaiah, Daniel - Women of scripture: Ruth, Hannah, Esther, Mary, Martha, Priscilla - Disciples and apostles: Peter, John, Matthew, Thomas, Paul - And many more, from Jonah and Lazarus to the tax collector and the prodigal son Each one answers in their own voice, grounded in their own story. EVERY CONVERSATION IN YOUR LANGUAGE Bible Buddies Chat speaks 45 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. Here is the part people love: everyone in a room can use a different language. Each person writes and reads in their own, and the app translates between them as you go. A grandmother in Kerala and a grandchild in Toronto can study the same passage together, each in the language they think in. ROOMS FOR STUDYING TOGETHER - Create a private room and invite family or friends with a room code - Choose two Bible characters to join the conversation - Return to any past conversation from your room history - Export a chat as a PDF to keep, print, or share THREE WAYS TO TALK - Fun: light, warm conversation that draws you in - Lessons: what this person learned, and what it means now - Advice: bring a real question and hear how scripture speaks to it THOUGHTFUL AND SAFE - Answers stay faithful to the biblical text - Warm and encouraging in tone, suitable for all ages including children - No ads and no in-app purchases - Secure, encrypted connections - Sign in with Google, so your conversations stay yours across devices GOOD FOR - Personal devotion and quiet study - Family devotion time at home - Sunday school, homeschool, and youth groups - Small groups and Bible studies - Anyone meeting these stories for the first time HOW IT WORKS 1.
