Thread Thread is a minimalist one-line grid puzzle designed to sharpen your mind and help you slow down and focus. Draw one continuous path through every cell on the board, reach each numbered checkpoint in the correct order, and work your way around torn-ink barriers. Inspired by sumi-e calligraphy, Japanese washi paper, and classic Hamiltonian path puzzles, Thread keeps things simple: one board, one line, one solution. How to Play Start at Pin 1 — Touch and drag from the first numbered checkpoint to begin your thread. Fill Every Cell — Your path must pass through every tile on the board without crossing itself. Follow the Numbers — Reach each checkpoint in order: 1 → 2 → 3 → and so on. Avoid the Barriers — Walls and blocked edges shape the route you can take. Rewind When Needed — Made a wrong turn? Tap any previously inked cell to rewind the thread and try a different route. Game Features 100 Handcrafted Campaign Pages Work your way through 10 volumes, each with its own gradual increase in difficulty. Early levels introduce the core mechanics with a small number of checkpoints, while later volumes feature up to 15 checkpoints and more complex barrier layouts. Endless Mode Looking for something beyond the campaign? Endless Mode generates new deterministic puzzles whenever you want. Challenge yourself to improve your completion times and beat your personal best. Stars and Best Times Each page offers up to 3 stars based on your completion speed and hint usage. There are 300 stars to collect across the full campaign. Hints and Undo When you're stuck, use a subtle hint to help reveal your next move. If you take a wrong turn, the rewind system lets you quickly backtrack and explore another route. Sumi-E Inspired Design Thread combines warm washi paper textures with simple ink-based visuals inspired by Japanese sumi-e. Prefer a darker look? Switch to Dark Paper Mode. Completing a puzzle is marked with a tactile Hanko-inspired seal. Haptic Feedback Subtle haptic feedback gives each move, turn, blocked path, and completed puzzle a satisfying physical feel without getting in the way. Play Offline Thread is designed to work without an internet connection. The full 100-level campaign and Endless Mode are available offline, so you can play wherever you are.
